Most hotels hardly have blackout ability this projector needs even at night.

Most of the hotels I've been in have pretty decent blackout blinds (mostly budget ones). But usually there's a TV on the wall away from the bed...

WTH you stay? Every hotel I've ever been in is pitch black.

not big enough for a projector. I travel a lot.

If at night only you want that projector then it's probably ok.

I stay at Marriott and Hilton level, usually $200+ night.

Not the best of rooms but good.

Same here. From the cheapest to the most expensive, they nearly all have thick curtains that block out almost all, if not all, light.
I'm not interested in a small PJ since when I do travel I'm not in the room usually except to sleep. It would be great for people that have to travel for work though.

I'll agree with not big enough...or at least not enough clear wall to project on, I was just commenting on the "dark" level.

I guess if you used the tripod in front of the TV and pointed it to the blank wall above the bed, then sat in the chair by the desk or laid on the bed with your head towards the TV, it could work.

Plus, you can do a small screen - you can make like a 20" diagonal image if you want.

Currently $359 on Amazon:

If you're looking for a media player to go with it, I'd highly recommend a Roku 3. $99, plays all kind of streaming stuff (Netflix, Vudu, Redbox Instant, Amazon Prime) as well as Plex (LAN streaming via media server software), and the remote has a headphone jack for private listening (awesome for use on a treadmill).
