I'm sure a lot of you who are pre-ordering AM4 builds will want/need compatibility kits to make your custom backplate-dependent coolers work with your new board.

Many firms are offering kits for people who can show proof of purchase of mobo + HSF

I can report that Noctua has a shipping time of 10-14 days to North American addresses once you send them a copy of your receipt(s) in an email. Response to the email was prompt.

Anyone else have similar experience with other hardware vendors?

Cooler master has kits available for free for an (as of now rather narrow) selection of coolers, the Hyper 212 series among them. Free, no need for proof of purchase, but shipping (at least in Europe) needs to be paid. I paid €7 to have it shipped to me in Norway. Estimated shipping date is 3/2, no word on estimated delivery.

Hmm, not bad. Noctua didn't make me pay to ship anything, but of course they're shipping from somewhere in Europa (presumably Austra) so it's a bit slow.

I got both an AM4 mounting kit for the D15S and some fan clips to use NF-A14 fans with it.

If you don't want to wait, they're $7.65 or so on Amazon, as of 1.5 weeks ago.

Yeah I know. I got in early enough that it should be here by the time my pre-ordered stuff arrives. And you can't buy the fan clips so I would have been waiting for those anyway.
