Hi,

Please help me with an Inexpensive Mobo replacement for my dead Gigabyte AM3...I would like to order one today. Should I fear a Micro build, I have large hands.

Newegg shows many more candidates in your price range from reputable manufacturers, including Asrock, Asus, Gigabyte, MSI and more, many including free shipping. I tried to set the link to list them lowest price first. If it doesn't work, check that setting, and you'll find them.

For extra credit, click the link on that page to see which have mail in rebates.

Also, note the number of negative comments on the BIOSTAR A880GZ. I trust the user reviews on Newegg because they don't filter the negatives.

Hi Harvey,

Thanks for the info, I did take a Peak. I never bought cheap harware before I guess I will not start now. Just not sure IF I will go with Gigabyte my favorite Mobo Mfg.

Gigabyte has lost support for their slow roll out of their bios

I'd for sure go with an ASUS board if they are remotely close to your price range. Gigabyte is alright, but I have not had very much luck with my previous two GB boards.
