Just spoke with ASUS USA pre-sales[502-995-0883 (selected option 4 I believe)]. Take this with a grain of salt because they usually don't know the whole story, but they did confirm the specs on the M2R32-MVP for me and then said they had no knowledge of a Deluxe version coming down the pipe anytime soon.

Keep in mind I called and asked if there was going to be a deluxe version of the A7N8X when it was rumored it was coming out ,and I was considering the purchase of that board, and they ended up coming up with 2 Deluxe versions of it. Just thought I would pass this food for thought along.

I still have my fingers crossed for the Deluxe version but if it doesn't come I think it may have to go with Sapphire or MSI.

Canada got its first sapphire motherboard shippment in a store about 1 km away from me in a store whos owner I personally know......CONNECTIONSSSSS

So much for my NDA

Just got my computer up and running with the MSI K9A Platinum and everything is working perfectly. All drivers and applications installed fine and I am now ripping through all my games 😀. I'll try overclocking later this week, but so far I have not had one single problem.

Thanks, Jaxx. I was waiting for this one. Not bad performance but not outstanding either. Using the recommended memory would have helped. Bios still needs some tweaks but that's nothing unusual. At least it looks stable. I'd heard that this board would be out this week but from the review it sounds like that may not be the case... We'll see how the Sapphire boards do.

1 1/2 weeks out in Canada link

Cool. When these things start popping up it means it won't be long.

Last link is the S939 board. The specs I found from zzf link to DFI looked pretty good - listed the board with 3 PCIs and support for DDR2-1000 (1066?) RAM. First crossfire board I've seen that supports higher than DDR2-800. One strange thing I noticed is that it listed the SB chip as the SB600 but further down it listed a supplied diskette with the SB650 RAID drivers. I originally saw the specs for this board listed using the SB650 chip. Not sure what to think of this but unless one was going to use a RAID 5 array it wouldn't matter anyway.
