Him - "I need the t.v so my friends can play video games"
Me - "I'm watching t.v here and I'm not going anywhere."
Him - "go to your room"
Me - "I have no t.v in my room and there is a t.v in your room and outside of it so use those. I am not going to lock myself in my room bored so your friends can play video games"
Him - "We will be using all those t.vs to play video games over the network"
Me - "I'm not going to lock myself in my room so your friends can play video games"
Him - "You're an ahole and selfish."

He wanted me to go to my room for the night because he wanted to invite his friends over and throw a party. Fine as long as they don't bother me. No, he wants to use all the T.Vs so they can play over network and expects me to be stuck without a T.V. I think that's pretty selfish if you ask me. I want to watch t.v and I have every right to.

Get your own t.v. and you won't have to worry about this. Plus you can lock yourself in your room watching YOUR t.v. and not have to deal with him and his friends.

I feel as though he should have asked you before he made these plans... and since he didn't, should have delt with and respected your decision. But being a nice person, you could have let him used the TV and just settled with being mad at him... Up to you I guess

The way you say it, it sounds like your gay lover told you what to do...and you liked it. Maybe you should act like a man instead of man-sperm-receptacle.

Do something besides TV?:D
I know, its the principal of the thing, but I'd take it as a sign I needed to do something else.

I got you beat man. I was watching Chasing Amy freshman year (2 years ago) and I was 90% of the way throught it... I was watching it on my computer and we shared a dorm room. My roommate came in and cranked XXX really loud on the tv. His speakers out blew mine. I missed the last 25 minutes of the movie and i was really pissed off. I wish i could kick his ass right now.

I don't think I am wrong yet the people living here are taking his side. I don't care as I didn't get off of the couch and I told them to go to hell. Nobody was going to ruin my wasted Saturday night watching t.v. If he would have asked me nicely, maybe. I don't like how he just said "I need the t.v my friends are coming over". Before he made his plans he could have asked or at least let other people know.

Their suggestion was for me to go do something else. Like what? I made no plans tonight and I wanted to just sit at home and watch t.v. I have a computer in my room which is only good for surfing the net and I didn't want to go online. I don't play video games either. :( .

The person who paid for this t.v is my girlfriend. Not that easy. The ()@& complaining is related to her. I didn't even bring up who paid for the t.v and I won't.

The other people are taking his side because he is always at home. His video games attracts friends over and this is good for him. NOT my problem?

Argh. Be a man. Sometimes that means being an asshole in the eyes of your enemies. Tear the plug out of the wall, remove the TV from the stand and place it on your bed.

Turn around and say in a manly voice (even though you've not cleared puberty yet) "Did you NOT understand what I said? NO FUCKKING VIDEO GAMES...I'M WATCHING ALLEY MCBEAL, DAMMINT!!!!!!!!!"

Let them think your nuts/a douchbag. You win. That's all that matters.
