Piano is fun! Of course I say that now that I'm not in lessons! I started when I was six, but just did'nt have the focus, so the folks took me out and tried again at about 8. I quit when I was 16 yrs. I can get through most pieces okay although I only have a keyboard, which is not as fun as a real Piano! I was actually thinking about taking a few more lessons now that I am older, as it's not something I feel I have to do, but want to do!

I say go for it!:)

Go for it. :) I've been thinking about starting back up again as well... how are the rates you've found for teachers? So far, it's a little too pricey for me ($20-30 for half an hour).

harder, but just take lessons so you have good fundamentals. don't just um hack it out.

its just practice you know. some people have a gift that makes it easier, but still gotta practice.

you MIGHT be able to find a starving music grad student in town to do it (check the local university music school), but i doubt anyone would do it for less than 25-30 for an hour, if even that.

Some people will say that you are never too old to do something such as learn a musical instrument....but they are wrong, you are too old. Forget about it.

some go far lower then that, heck lessons from advanced students at some small schools cost maybe 10 bux i bet. group lessons are also cheap if you like that sorta thing.. i don't. a few years back i had lessons for about 12 bux for half an hour. its not that expensive unless your going high high end.
