um....obviously he did a great job at it or the movie wouldn't sell countinously. An specific actor can spure sales at first, but they will die down. A specific movie plot can also spure sales at first, but if the actors suck, who would want to watch it. Thats what makes movies good, IMO a great combination of plot & actors.

I think he played the character very well. I can't imagine any other actor playing Neo better.

Keanu is pretty decent as Neo. He's not my favorite actor or anything, but he did a good job. Laurence Fishburne kicked ass as always, though.
