Define what you think 'old' is. I am 30 and I have a very active myspace account. I personally know %99 of the friends on my friends list. So it is not just a way to meet people or make cyber-friends. For me its a way to celebrate friendships that i already have. Also your life is not on display for all to see unless you want it to be. There are options to restrict the viewing to only your firends.

For all the haters, thats fine you don't have to like it. or understand it. But think about this. The ones who don't have a myspace, I am sure %99 of you have a website where you either post pictures of your friends, blog about your life or just fiddle around with it. its no differnt. Myspace just does it in a different way.

I don't have one, and won't likely in the future. I don't use IM either, nor text message, nor a cell phone. I carry an analog pager at work, and that is almost too much :p

Don't have a MySpace, nor have I ever read anyone elses. Do have an account on facebook, but mostly for stalking people, but I did do the profile and such.

I have a FaceBook account, as it is a nice way to keep track of old friends. It was also a great tool as an RA living in a freshmen dorm. However, I don't search for people, keep a profile, or any of that crap. I haven't even logged into my account in 6 months.

I've seen one Myspace profile and it turned me off for good, not for the content of that persons profile, just the sheer randomness and overbearing of the page. I don't want to look at stuff that has moving back rounds, crappy music, a million colors and blogs about shtuff I don't care about.

I'll stick with the old BBS and IM stuff. That's good enough for this old timer.
