Am I the only one who thought 'Van Helsing' sucked?

Yeah, I was hoping for a lot more, I was quite disappointed...I'm not a Hugh Jackman fan because of X-Men, but the other works he's done. Beckinsale was great to look at, at least. The writers just didn't seem like they could make up their minds, so they through everything in. Sommers' other films (namely, The Mummy and Mummy Returns) had the right mix of pacing, humor and action, whereas this just sucked all-around.

Troy better make up for VH next weekend.

Not the best nor worst movie I've ever seen. Plus Kate Beckinsale could stab me with a pitchfork in the neck and I would care, I would just be happy she stabbed me in the neck with a pitchfork.

Sweet. I'm glad to hear it.
A couple people from work went to see it on Friday. I decided to stay home and watch The Last Samurai on DVD instead.
Now I can laugh at my co-workers for wasting their money on such a POS. I told them it was supposed to suck, but they went anyway.

- If you like bad CGI, go see 'Spawn' or 'The Hulk'...they are better movies...seriously!

I love cgi, I do cgi for fun, and have learned it in school.

Spawn, had some good moments when it comes to cgi but most of it was pretty damn bad. Expecialy the hell scene, I expect high school students to do better.
The Hulk, great modeling, good animation, baaad texturing, just compare the dr hyde in the begining to hulk, it doesnt even compare.

The CGI in Hellsing was very well done all around and much much better than those two movies did.

I saw it last night, turned into a crapfest about halfway through the movie IMO

Could've been MUCH better IMO, the ending just boggled me... Frankenstein was a pussy too, WTH was with that?

what was with him sailing off into nowhere in the end? That made NO SENSE!!! The action got ridiculous when they made it to Dracula's 2nd castle in the eng, swinging from cable to cable from one arm at 100MPH. "Here, catch this syringe, I'm only swinging at you at about 80 MPH!" bah...

Haha.. that's exactly what I thought too. It's a like a big budget comedy parody movie. The whole audience at the screening agreed that it is a comedy. We laughed our a$$e$ off.

I wanted to leave when I found out she was dead. No, it didn't make me sad, I wanted to laugh - that was the most pointless death - ever. Umm, wait until the moon goes behind some clouds and then give him the antidote? No, you love him too much to wait and that would make too much sense, RUSH at him with the antidote while he tears you to pieces, great F'n idea. oops, you died!

Then Van Helsing stands there with misty eyes about to burst out blubbering....the same guy who's heart was still in the presence of Dracula, when he knew he'd get his ass handed to him... he was supposed to be tough as nails, then this!?!? stupid stupid stupid
