I still use it. I have always liked the format. Gmail is kind of frustrating.

I use yahoo mail, but forward everything to gmail, so I don't actually use the yahoo site.
I don't even remember my yahoo password (made a hard alphnumeric one to protect the account).

How good is the spam filter in Yahoo mail?

It's actually very good. I never get spam in my Inbox and it all gets placed in an easy to locate spam folder for my approval should I need to check up on it. I get a lot of spam on my yahoo mail b/c I have used it for years on a slew of sites.

I might have to check Yahoo out because Gmail is pissing me off missing the same SPAM over and over again.

:hmm: I've not had to pay anything for continuing to use an AT&T email (after I cancelled AT&T service).

Agree that new Yahoo mail appearance is good. Vaguely resembles Microsoft.

I finally stopped a few months ago. It was my junk mail/ads account. Now I forward all that crap to my main account, which has forced me to unsubscribe from a few.

I tried to use yahoo mail a couple of years ago, but it wouldn't allow my browser to save my passwords. Went to gmail, and never looked back.

I use yahoo exclusively. Webmail is webmail, no point in changing accounts to the newest and greatest every time something pops up. I just keep separate accounts for spam an normal usage.

I use yahoo mail and pay for pop3 access, although i see with gmail i can use outlook for free. But the new web mail is great. Deleting messages went from 2 clicks to one click, very nice!

I agree with others that gmail is kind of confusing or at the least not intuitive.

I use it at work (oops, did I say that?). Not bad, but I prefer my email client on my home machine. Gmail is maddening with it's crappy interface. You have hunt for a "Forward" link, and it's options are a joke.

I like the new layout alright, but I kind of wish the font was a bit smaller. And it says "Inbox: 999+". I stopped deleting stuff from my inbox due to laziness and the fact that they kept increasing the capacity up to a ridiculous amount and I am so far beyond 999 that it is ridiculous.

I used to use it as my primary account when applying for jobs and for general purpose responses for purchases.

The account is so old that it's just a hassle to clean up the spam box constantly that I may just disable the account.

Same here!
