Am I the only one who refuses to buy clothing...

Am I the only one who refuses to buy clothing when they gain weight? I've added on some flubber on my gut and I don't want to buy new clothes till I lose the fat so right now I'm not sure what I should do.. I know I need to go to the gym, and I actually want to go but I can't or at least not suppose to because I've got lots of work I need to make up and do.. BLEH!

I'm a size 34.

So watch your diet and do some cardio at home...I've never gained weight past what my clothing allows, especially since I have a hard time finding pants small enough as it.

Everybody thinks "I'm fat, need to go to the gym"...small changes in your daily life will help you lose weight too.

I am losing weight fast and refuse to buy more than a few things here and there.

At the moment, I have two pairs of jeans that are worn to death, full of holes and bleach stains and are a mess. I wear them around the house, mostly. The b/f's father has a fit when he sees me in them.

yup.

if i get fatter, i still buy new clothes... not just because the old ones didn't fit, but also because i want to look good and stylish.

however, i try to let my clothes gauge whether i'm getting too fat or losing weight.

well, i'm trying to get fatter, so I don't need a belt with all my pants. and by fatter i mean muscle, i don't think my body stores fat. seriously

I've only lost a significant amount of weight (160->140), so none of my old clothing fits me. I wish I had a chubbier person to swap with.

I had to replace all my pants when I lost weight (about 30 lbs). So I make it a point not to gain any more weight if I can.

Size 34? Wow, you're fat!

What does that equal in men's sizes?

or how about those waist-adjustable dockers that my dad used to wear.

they look great as business casual slacks but can be used to within +/- 3 inch of your weight cycle.

Yeah, I've gained some weight in the last year and my nicer pants don't fit me well anymore. Pretty much just my jeans fit well now. I'm not buying new clothes, I'm just going to lose the weight so I can wear my nicer clothes again in the spring.
