Am I the only one who hate push pins?

Can anyone confirm which coolers this bolt-through kit works with? I know they list the standard TR ones, but what about others like Xigmatek and Arctic?

I can confirm that it works with a Xigmatek.

I was sure I read about replacing chipset pushpins for the rest of the motherboard chipset (reseating, reapplying TIM, a general tuneup while we're at it) in an Anandtech article. Alas, I couldn't find this in any motheboard article 2007 or later.

From Gigabyte X38/P35/P965 (DS* DQ* S3) Overclocking and General BIOS tweaking Guide:

I suggest replacing the push-pins with 4-40 nylon screws washers and nuts found at Lowe's in the specialty hardware drawers.
I like this idea. Does anyone have a better suggestion, or remember the article where I saw an AnandTech mention of this mod?
