Am I the only one who has noticed this?

Think about it. Some one is leeching off the other guy, 'cause there are waay too many similarties between the two.

Discuss ;)

Well, they are similar in the fact that they are both Fantasy stories, which all have recurring themes of bad guy takes over, bad guy takes girl, good guy fights to get girl back, good guy kills bad guy, good guy gets girl.

I would like to think that SoT is geared toward a more mature audience though. I'm assuming that you have read both series (well, what's written of them anyway) and can verify this.

Nah. I'm talking about stuff like, main character in Both is prophized to return and save the world after 3000 years type thing. Or the obvious similarities between the Sisters of the Light and the Aes Sedai, the fact that both societies have hidden elements that adhere to the dark side (black ajah, sisters of the dark, etc.)

Blood of the Fold= Children of the Light, crap like that.

Yes, you do have a point. I remember getting confused a couple times between the two stories. Sometimes I'm thinking to myself if the Aes Sedai did something or was it the Sisters of the Light.

So Chainfire wasn't that great? I was thinking about picking that one up in a couple days. I've read all of the other ones already.

Good books when you are 13 and 14.

Bad books when you grow up. the first in each series is still fun to read, the others . . . . ugh.
