130 hp is more than enough for any vehicle he might need. If it was up to me he would be driving a geo metro the rest of his life.

I think that's a good idea. A bit light, if you ask me. Drunk drivers should be shot on sight.

I agree completely.

Might as well shoot stupid people too.

Also, where did you guys get the information that he was drunk? I don't think any judge will let a DUI back on the road like that. Not all accidents are caused by drunk drivers.

If he was in Europe he would face jail time for that.

Personally i wouldn't complain if they took him out of his car and shot him on sight.

You do NOT drink and drive, my kids are out there.

There is NO excuse for it, it is extremely simple, if you drink you do not drive and if you drive you do not drink.

If it was up to me, he would never ever be driving again.

I agree with your last sentence. He shouldn't be driving again, agreed, but forcing him to take a pill that will make him sick if he drinks alcohol is not very civil.

How sick? Vomit and Diarrhea sick or what? I mean, would that still stop him from driving?

His ass should either be in jail or his license revoked... permanently, or both.

Include heart palpitations and massive headaches, severe panic anxiety that usually means hospital visits if you don't knwo how to defeat it.

I agree though.

Wow, worse than I thought. Oh well.

but still a good sentence

Um, he was drinking and driving guys.

Well, the CNN article didn't say anything about the drinking so I guess we can close the topic. The asswipe should have gotten life sentence.

Did I read that right? He has to go to prison only on holidays and the anniversaries of the crash? VERY creative judge!

Hmm, why waste the money? Just have him drive into 100mph into a telephone pole.

You gotta wonder how many people will call the number just to spite his ass. I'm hoping for a lot.

Considering the charges (manslaughter, aggravated assault and hit-and-run) I have no idea how the fvck the jury let him off with probation, especially if alcohol was involved. Nice to see the judge saw fit to throw on some extra for him.

Screw that damn bastard. The 180 days are in prison are not enough. He was partially to blame in the death of an innocent 16 year old.

I think he got off easy. If you cause another persons death without a damn good reason (like your life was threatened), I think you should be immediately executed. Period.

Whoever his lawyer was, (s)he did a darn good job of having him get off light. Knowing freaks like that are sharing the road with me is enough to make me want the death sentence for drunk driving. Nobody has business driving drunk, you and the car become a weapon.

If you are driving, don't drink a beer, a glass of wine or anything, if you did, don't drive, this isn't hard to get, if you are driving, do not drink any beverages with alcohol in them, if you do, do not drive.

I hate these "i only had two beers so i can drive" idiots.

I can down a liter of tequila on one night and i can STILL feel the effects of ONE beer so don't tell me it has no effect on you.

If i drive i don't drink, if i drink i don't drive, simple as that.

Throwing your name in the hat?

Stupidity is completely subjective. Who do we consider stupid? Drunk drivers do no less than threaten the lives of everyone on the road when they drive. Nothing good ever comes of drunk driving.

Got off light, too.
