Am I the only one that thinks Quizno is overrated?

I had some today, their pastrami sub, and I thought it was "ok". The toasted sub had little effect on the taste and they put total of 3 slices of pastrami folded into seven layers to give the Arby's effect. Also, the sub was like $7.50 for a whole large. Even Subway adds more pastrami and veggies to their subs then Quizno's. Same goes for the Turkey sub.

As far as pastrami sandwich goes...

Togo > Subway > Quizno's.

Over rated? No.

Over priced? Yes.

Subway beats Quizno's in terms of value.

Subway - deceive the size of their sandwich with veggies.
Quizno - not enough meat.
Togo - overrated.

I went to quizno's once at an airport on layover, and had a roast beef sub, I believe. best sub I've ever had, but I havent tried togo's.

the toasted bun really adds a subtle undertone, and some of the stuff they put in it tasted really good. plus, I got a good amount of meat in it.

I think i need to step in here....

Quiznos is really good, but super expensive. THey have the best sauces and stuff to put on the side.

Subway is decent and really cheap... not bad if you're hungry and want something cheap.

Subway isn't cheap, it's like $6 for a footlong.

Also, I agree with the whole thing with Quizno being a $7 loaf of bread. So much bread, so little filling.

quiznos is very good food. I know. I work at one. If I did not work at one, I sure as heck would not eat there. THey make a very nice profit on each and every sandwich they make.

If you got too little meat on your sub I would complain. If they weight out the sub by the book you get a heck of a sandwich. As for veggies, just ask for more. You can pile them on at no extra cost (least in my store).

Also, please do not expect the new "Philly Cheesesteak" sandwich to taste like a REAL philly cheesesteak. It doesn't. Not even remotely close. But it is still good.
