Am I the only one finding the forums unBEARABLY slow for the last 24 hours or so?

I'm pulling about 800bytes/second from the forums. Literally. WTF is with that? I know it's not my connection because other sites run fine. But what's odd is that it's not just AnandTech...like, Amazon.com is slow as well. Not as slow as AT, but slower than normal. Is this a connection failure between my ISP and a backbone somewhere or something?

It sucks! I'm going through withdrawls...anybody have any ideas as to what the problem could be?

Looks like "Stargate.net" is the problem...anyone else experiencing similar things? Or maybe hop 5 is the problem? *sigh*

It hasn't been slow for me. Is there any packet loss? Sounds like something between you, your isp, and anand went kaput?
Not sure how to help with this but good luck finding a solution.

For me, all of a sudden yesterday all the US sites were extremely slow but the rest of the world was fast, like a reflection of national intelligence or something. I blamed it on Napster zealots. Now I see that you guys took your IQ booster along with your colon blow!

Well it's certainly nothing directly on my end. Because some sites work perfectly, and my email server is fine, my NNTP server is fine. For instance, dvdtalk and google are perfectly fast. Maybe I'll give AT&T/MediaOne a call and see if there's some scheduled maintenance or if they lost a big connection somewhere...

the NET has been slow for me since yesterday. i have no idea why.

i ususally get <100 ms pings ic CS. i'm now getting 250+. this is riducluous
