Am I the only one DLing extermely slow on Morpheus?

I used to have about 10-15 simuntaneous DLs and each had about 10k-50k per sec.
But recently, I'm DLing at 0.12k and 1.26k and such.. regardless of what I DL...

Is something wrong? Why am I DLing so slow? No, it's not my internet (college LAN) because I just DLed Norton Antivirus for 400k/sec from their website just an hour ago...

Is something wrong with my Morpheus? Is there a way to tweak it??

It actually very well might be your college LAN. My college has limited bandwith on all downloading programs. Can't use morpehus, kazaa, winmx, or any others like that because you only get .1k/sec or somewhere around there. The only thing that works alright is Audiogalaxy, which will get you around 5-15k/sec (which still sucks compared to what I could be getting). THey didn't limit downloads from websites though, and I can still get 400k/sec from downloading things like windows updates and stuff.

Extremely slow for me as well. It's worth it for all the Simpsons/Family Guy I have been accumulating though

I would gladly wait a day to d/l @ 2 k/s for some TV episodes.

Sometimes "find more sources for download" will speed it up considerably. Otherwise, just choose the poeple you download from more carefully.

Bah, I'm at the University of Washington, and I have absolutely no problems. The thing with most college dorm LANs is that the other party is too fvcking slow...i've had 300-400K/s downloads, and then I've also had Morpheus fvck up and give me like -1.5K/s or some stupid thing like that. It all depends I guess, but Morpheus is still the most popular app, and therefore you will find the best selection of mp3's/whatnot to get.
