Whats that? you mean not looking at the keyboard?

Yes, that's what he means.

I'm self-taught, and I just scored 75 WPM at typingtest.com with 98% accuracy. If I'm a bit more awake or know what I'm writing about (very rare; often I will stop to debate about how to phrase something/which word to use for a few seconds) I can get closer to 90, but I'm always tired. With practice, memorizing the layout of the keyboard just comes to you. It's fine when learning to touch-type to look at the keyboard once in a while until you have everything down.

Nope. I cant type. Well my wife says I cant. Mavis bacon say I can type 50 WPM with no errors. My wife says its doesnt count because I only use two fingers. Great excercise though!

seriously? after years of repetition it should be naturally learned. i did it naturally too which screwed me over a bit when i got a ms natural ergo type kb since i used to do stuff like hit the Y key with my left index finger instead of right...and u can't do that anymore with split kb:p didn't take long to adapt though. just force yourself to stop looking. keep your fingers naturally on asdf and jkl; and move from there

well i don't know how to type correctly, but i don't need to look at the keyboard. actually i type with my right pointer on k instead of j for some reason. works fine for me though.

My typing slowed down a little after I broke my hand last year. I probably type around 60 wpm now. Slow for some I guess, but it works fine for me.
