YOU were the one moderator they suspected might be involved. That's simply because your history of abuse against posters dwarfed all the other mods combined, and they thought you were the ONE mod capable of such treachery.

I actually stood up for you and said to Derek, "Red's an asshole but I sincerely doubt he be involved in that." I also told him they'd never find anything in your pm's if you had been, that you weren't that dumb.

But yeah, I was just blowing off steam about you in those screen shots because there you were, pimping for ProfJohn and posting it in PFI just to draw a crowd and dance for them, when you and I both know you probably didn't believe PJ to begin with.

ViRGE saw it and moved it to Mod Discussions and reamed you for purposefully putting it in the wrong forum, and then a whole host of Admins handed you your ass with the facts to the point you where you were forced to back down and even apologize.

Your gambit backfired, and that was that.

But you did all of those things I ranted about, and more. I just can't let you dance for this audience and try to get the misimpression over that you didn't or that other mods pulled bullshit like you did.

It's just not true.

Well, I'd hate to disrupt this lovefest, but he wasn't the only mod banned if what DW told me was carried out.

Good point. It does seem as though some are taking a very do as I say, not as I do approach to their duties here.

Everyone understands that personal attacks/mod bashing are over the line, but it seems as though members are held to a stricter standard than some of the mods.

It is a shame really. I joined in 2000, but lurked for at least a year before joining up. The forums were a lot more enjoyable back then, though I do still read the occasional lol worthy post here, and people didn't seem to go over the line as much.

I sometimes wonder if the pushing of the limits is a result of the screws being tightened too much. People tend to push more when they feel restricted. I can't help but have the feeling that there wouldn't be so much push back and drama if things were relaxed a bit.
