whack. I'd say you did the right thing. I personally like young girls (i.e. 18-23, I'm 25 btw). And frankly, a woman that came on that strong would be intimidating, and somewhat of a turn off. Desperation turns me off. No fun in the chase there. Just my opinion.

You're an idiot. Don't put words in other posters' mouths especially when you get it wrong. Nobody is advocating staying a virgin until marriage - in fact I think it's healthy to get a bit of experience before settling down.

Sex in and of itself isn't very special at all. It's just like eating. However, when you're in love, then it can be special, sure. But most of the people who are telling you to wait so it can be special are probably equating sex with love, which IS NOT the case.
Think about it this way, if you do this older chick, you'll learn a heck of a lot, and you'll be that much better when it becomes special.

While I personally think the concept of retaining one's virginity for some noble purpose is silly and quite useless, I'm sort of leaning toward the idea that you've made the right decision. Not out of any sense of altruism, but rather, practicality. This woman's been around (well, she's 41, so she can be excused there to some extent), but worse, she'd be sloppy seconds to your friend. Worse still, she's approaching this as if it were a business transaction.
However, what do I know? She could be a great person, great in bed, and a hell of a lot of fun to be with.. *shrug*

This is kind of a contradiction here...most people probably don't want their first time to be trashy, but with someone special. And yes when you're in love with someone, sex is all that more enjoyable.
