Kallster, I would slowly and carefully remove the screw w/ needle-nose pliers, and to avoid sending it back to Dell. If only the screw and not the socket lost threading, I'm sure they'll send you a screw at no charge.

drill it out with a bit that is about the same size a the thread, but you might want to prime it first with a smaller bit. Knock the end of with chisle/screw-driver & hammer, then use a grip plier to turn the screw.
Or, drill all holes out to larger size and uses bigger metal screws.
