The time zones are screwy in that area of the country. You might be connected to cell towers in a different part of the state.

Edit: I now own your thread. Drop $500 in unmarked twenty-dollar bills in the waste bin at the corner of 5th and Elm.

Despite what Apple wants us to believe the iPhone has lots of bugs. My fathers iPhone like to randomly dial people in his contacts at random times.

Isn't that a state that part observes DST and the other does not?

In any case I wish they would abolish time zones for good. GMT forever! :p

Too dangerous for my work. :Q

Time zones are a PITA when you're constantly crossing them.

Lol no. He does have WAY to many apps though. He had the thing maxed out with 9 pages of apps and almost no space left but he's started to delete some. However this is a known problem if you do a google search.

Seriously, I wish we could just do this. It's so arbitrary that we want 12 o'clock to be mid day everywhere.

States with two time zones FTL. Indiana = part of the midwest. Observe only CST already.

A good start would be to get rid of DST. I F'n hate when the time changes. If you want more light, get your ass out of bed earlier :^/

AT&T/Cingular has always had trouble in Newnan/Peachtree City/Senoia, GA, hopping between 1hr earlier and the correct time. I doubt it's connecting to an AL tower that far away. They never admit anything when you bring it up. It did it on V3 RAZRs and iPhones 3Gs in my experience. Wait until it has the correct time and then disable automatica time setting.

Mine likes to assign icons from uninstalled applications to apps randomly.

i would be difficult for people who make a lot of international calls. how do you know when its an appropriate time to call someone. right now, you figure out their time and you know if its a right time to call.

Indiana observes DST now, but it's still split between Eastern and Central (mostly Eastern).
