Am i overpaying?

I would like to get a GOOD card for under 275 US$. My question is what is a good priced one? (i just want to know if 275$ is two much.)

thats around where you should be able to find 6950's/560 ti.
Both are about equal in performance with slight advantage to 6950's (ref. stock vs stock).

So whichever you can find cheaper, is what your should grab.

The 6950 have the advantage, of almost always being able to unlock, which turns them into 6970's with a bios flash.

As for if these are good for your case, we would need to know what the rest of your system looks like (do you have enough CPU power to push one of these video cards properly?), what specific games you play and what your screen resolution is.

unlock, in this case, means you can turn the 6950->6970 with a bios flash, for free performance.
