Well, OP, if you value your job so you can pay the bills, then just do your job and cut back on the chit chat. I hate to say it but the company pays you to work and not to chit chat. I know it is friday afternoon, but you still at the office, therefore, you are expected to do work.

If I was you, I would wait after work and chit chat so there won't be anymore problems.

I know. Friday was probably the first day in months where I spent any considerable amount of continuous time chatting. Normally, I have my headphones on and I am busting my arse.

I know. I have to just do my job. Today, I started talking and after several minutes, I jsut said "back to work" and just dropped all conversation. Kinda scary. I just ignored the others.
