Yes. You should also change it in Displays Manager. Go thru the whole "detect displays" making sure the refresh rate is correct in EVERY one of the boxes. Make sure you have your drivers installed for your monitor if possible and you may have to "force" a refresh rate . . . just don't go over your monitor's "recommended".Originally posted by: Anubis

I changed it from the Catalyst control center. Should I have to change it in Display too?
also can your monitor even support 85Hz? some monitors will let you set it to 85 or whatever even if they dont support it, itll tell you that you running 85 in windows but the monitor may still be doing 60
open up the OSD for the monitor itll tell you what its at in there
