Am I going to need 1066ddr2 for the new 1333 cpu's

if you're that concerned why not get a 1066 chip of the same speed? i mean you'll be overclocking anyway, but the lower fsb chip has a higher multi, so you won't have to oc the ram as much to get to the same clock speed. if you have ddr2 800 now though, i would definitely just wait until you buy the chip before buying new ram.

1333 cpu's run at 667 bus speed.

Your memory is at 800.

Nope, DDR2-667 in dual-channel mode should saturate the FSB. 2x667=1333.

DDR2-800 should be fine
unless you think you need the extra boost while running a divider or you want to go extreme and try to hit a 533 FSB.

so just a quick noob question here, if I run my FSB at 400*9 and put the mem at 1:1 sync that's not OC the ram is it ?

so a good pair of DDR2-PC6400 running at 1:1 should be ok.

i think the 2.33 ghz chip is a 7x multiplier. so you could possibly need over ddr2-800 ram, if you are going to try to go over 2800mhz obviously.

then again you could probably get ddr2-800 ram far over 800mhz (well unless it is that fake ddr2-800 ram that say the ocz sells which is really overclocked ddr2-667 with like 2.1 volts going through it at sad latencies like 5-5-5)
