If you spend less time on ATOT (I am serious), and more time around peers in real social situations, as well as _observe and replicate_ how the successful ones interact, you'll do much better. A big key is give the impression that you're having a good time, are easy going, and feel perfectly comfortable. Fake it as best as possible and eventually you will no longer be faking it. I know adults past my age who still act, frankly, retarded in social situations. i can't help but wonder if they have every tried thinking how others are perceiving what they're saying - like this one guy at work who tells everyone about his divorce and other various problems, or always goes on about himself. Nobody really cares to hear that stuff.
