Am I crazy?

Yes. Get some contacts or lasik.

No and no. I don't like putting my fingers near my eyes, or having lasers pointed into them. Yet I'm okay with having needles pushed through my flesh. Guess you're right, I am crazy after all 🙂

not to mention dangerous. its almost as dumb as wearing long earrings while playing streetball

Dangerous how? I'm envisioning more of a sliding-type mechanism to hold them onto the barbell, rather than the method that guy used.

Yeah wait until someone hits one of the lenses by mistake and twists the bridge of your nose like pizza dough

Wait until you trip and fall on your face. Maybe get punched by someone. That would be quite a painful experience if you ask me. Just wear contacts man.

Argh, you know even with 'regular' glasses it hurts so much when something slams into the lens or earpiece, bridge of the nose is pretty sensitive. Add in a factor of same type of bump also pulling away some of my flesh, I would have to pass.

If you could rig up something where they hung down from some kind of fixed point or points above the eye, that might be more comfy.

but in all seriousness, if you're deciding to go for it, go for it. It's cool, I'll admit that.... but I'd rather have a unicorn horn 😛

You know, I haven't been punched in the face in at least eight years, and don't foresee it happening anytime in the near future. Nor have I fallen on my face in... uh... well, I honestly can't remember the last time.

No suggestions for contacts or lasik, as I'm not interested in either of them whatsoever.

That, my friend, would be awesome.

HOLY CRAP!

Does that go completely thru the cartilage (sp?) of the nose, or is it an illusion of some kind?

Taking them on and off is a bit of a hassle, as it involves taking a tiny screwdriver and unscrewing them while they?re on my face ? about a 5 to 10 minute process ? which I suppose is about what you?d spend with contacts.

Ah, I can tell this guy is YAHK. (Yet Another Hip Kid) i.e. under 20 years old. I've had contacts for almost 10 years and they take me exactly 30 seconds total to take out, place in the case, fill with solution and cap each chamber in the case. 10 minutes my ASS.

LMK when that steel pole you have drilled THRU YOUR FACE gets infected and you "just don't feel right anymore." Damn hip kids.

Oh, well if you have never had your glasses bumped and never will then you'll be fine with the piercing/mod/whatever. If they get yanked out somehow it will just make a good story for the grandkids anyway.

Make sure to post lots 'o' pics!!!!
