High mileage? I was looking at c5 Z06s and low mileage ones were going for 25 and that was 5 years ago.......

thats big miles for ANY car. It is a rare car and exotic, but still thats a lot. You get what you pay for if you really want one save up and get one with less mileage.

Plus I gaurentee you'll never find a bank that will finance it, so hope you got 25k laying around. Thats why its so cheap.

Also if the AC is such a cheap and easy fix why hasnt he done it? Thats the old of it just needs a refill trick....

OP: I am not bashing the NSX in general. But something about this particular car feels cheap. Kinda like getting a super model after she had a few kids. You know, worn.

right, because the only thing that matters about a car is its interior :roll:

the interior in my genesis coupe is perfectly fine for me. the interior of the 911turbo i sat in was nice, but to me, that wasn't the most important part of the 911.

i care about performance more than interior, so the better the interior the less i care (very fast fall off of ROI).

Any reasonable person would want to have something like that repaired ASAP to help sell their car.

I'm saving up for a nice 1997+ model.

Penfed has financed plenty of nsxs in the past year at rates as low as 1.99. Edit: just remembered they have a 100k hard cap on mileage so you are right about this

Ac is most likely caused by a faulty climate control board. There's a guy on nsxprime that fixes them for about that much. Common problem on older nsxs

Bluebook for a 93 with that many miles in good condition is only 14-15k...

1 year older, broken AC? Offer $10k max.

I predict that this car was never under serious consideration and there is a 0% chance OP ever sees it IRL.

The $170 "easy fix" is truly hilarious. $170 for an easy fix on a $25k car's major system, but the guy can't be bothered/doesn't have time to do it? Despicable liar.

NSX auto swaps are cheap enough to offset the price of the manual parts. They were talking about manual swapped nsx's in the early 90s on best motoring. A clean low miles auto isnt a bad idea if you dont mind spending another 5-7k getting it swapped retail someplace.



lets not forget guys that NSX's have started to appreciate again. I already look at them as collectors cars and the whole speed thing is relative.


Unless you have driven a NSX you just dont know how nice they handle. I will get one someday and put sennansx as my personal plate.

Interior matters a lot to me, especially when you get older and care less about how the car looks. The outside is important to me as well, but the interior is what you're staring at when driving the thing..


The corvette interior has historically sucked, and the other poster was correct in that the nsx is better looking. It's a factor, especially if you're paying over $20k for a vehicle.

Perhaps but you do realize that collectible vehicle values are dependent on many factors such as availability, condition, mileage, etc.? You can clean and polish it all you want but the facts remains, mileage is high, it was someone's daily driver, and there isn't a scarcity of such vehicles. Just saying.

I know this one, the guy lives a half hour from me. Although I won't say "driven hard and put away wet", it hasn't had an easy life. Personally, I'd pass.

I know im in the minority but I like to drive older cars. REALLY drive them. Yes there is something to be said about owning a low miles pristine car that you keep on a pedastal. there is also something to be said for hooning and driving said cars as well.

I almost bought a grey market 190e cossie and it had 176k miles. Sure it was a few K cheaper than a pristine one but I know I can drive that thing as much as I want and dont have to worry about depreciation.

I inspected a 2001 bmw 328i that had m3 badges on it like a retard would do. Thing had some nice mods but didnt feel right. Looked at it underneath and the rear suspension was almost sheared off the subframe from hard launches. YEARS of hard launches. Now that thing was rode hard and put away dead.

No way I would spend that kind of money on a car that old, with that many miles, but that's just me.
