I agree... the parents aren't the issue... as mentioned above, most of the divorces today are due to financial issues... and regardless of whether or not she's giving away money to her parents, she seems to have a different view of finances than you do. From my point of view, I think you shouldn't care how much you guys have been through in the past... (I know it may sound unfaithful and all) but really consider where this relationship is headed with respect to how you guys 1) communicate and 2) compromise. I mean, from the posts you guys are still in your early 20s... what's the hurry? And Aunix said it right; it's the parent's responsibilities to take care of their children, not the other way around. Dude, you should really reconsider exactly how much "you've been through" with this girl... cuz... $100 to parents and $200 for herself? Dude a refund is not FREE money!... that's extra money that Uncle Sam stole from you during the year!!!
