I live on a mountan top ranch with a microwave link into town, 6 miles down the valley. There are 4 houses up here, were all family, all on the same network. There is a wireless network bridge that I an not technical enough to understand, but it connects to a router here next to my router and computer. I understand the bridge could be set up to directly connect to my router, or wifi cellphone but the family tech dosen't want anyone messing with his setup, so he has it it set up his way. I know better than to bother him with my mundane problems, and he recently broke up with his girlfriend and moved away, so things other than chainsaw repair, chicken vs coyote, soviet WWll rifles or dog stuff I don't bother him.

Thanks
I'm good with that. 😀

Yea, I suck at a lot of things, someday you'll get a good assessment of yourself too. Only hurts for a while, then you get used to it.

Psh... I remember when I had Symantec's firewall installed. POS said I was being probed at least 50 times a day. Never had a problem.

Of course, now I know every single detail about you that anyone could possibly know. But I'm a nice guy, so you'll never have a problem.

if you would have posted this problem in the proper forum, Networking, you would have received the answers you need. Instead you posted it in OT and you wonder why you get stupid replies.
