Am I Being Abused by my task lead? What can I do about it?

I'm currently working at a software company for close to 2 years now and I feel I'm doing a good job.
My task lead has been becoming very annoying lately.

My Problem
Everyday for at least the last 6 months, I would get comments from my task lead like
- I say I don't know something - "you don't know this? haha, you will fail in the industry my friend."
- I say a joke - "that's not an intelligent joke, it's not funny to me"
- he will randomly ask how to do something, I ask him to wait a minute and I'll find out and then he'll reply - "it's okay, forget it, I'll figure it out myself" (one time, for the heck of it, I said that I do know and I will teach him, he said "this is difficult stuff, you have to.." and he starts to go on about how much he knows)
- I am talking to another co-worker on what I'm working on, he'll jump in and go "that's simple stuff"
- (The most annoying one) Every week, Co-worker asks what I did during the weekend. I say what I did during the weekend - he'll jump in and say "that's kiddie stuff" or "that's for girls"
- I talk to a co-worker that fits the stereotypical "gay guy" attitude and then he'll start telling everyone that I'm the gay guy's best friend.
- there was one time, something was not completed on his side, he blamed it on me.
- I said I am going to take Friday off, because I worked during the weekend to meet boss' deadline, he tells me that no one asked you to work during the weekend. I came in anyways to finish up some stuff in the morning, he tells me I can't leave even after I'm done.
- list goes on and on.. he'll basically do anything to do slam me down and put himself up.

What other co-workers think
I finally started to express how I feel about my task lead and everyone I spoke to said "yes, that guy picks on you A LOT for some reason!"

What I have done about it
Last Thursday, he asked to use my computer. Ofcoarse I did and he starts to say how I'm so disorganized because files are everywhere. So I finally snapped and asked "Why can't you pass one day without talking sh*t to me." Then he started to say how I don't get him and I take things personally. The next day he tells co-workers he can't talk to me because I take things too seriously. RRG!

Why I can't avoid him
He is my task lead and he reports my status every month to the supervisor. I think if I'm in bad standing with him, I'm in bad standing with the company.

Why I posted this
Is there something I can do about this? This is really really bad for my health.. I go home so irritated everyday. Thanks in advance.

Go to HR and file a formal complaint. They will take it from there.

your task lead reminds me a lot of myself... you must be pretty bothersome. heh. I don't get snarky with someone unless I see that they're dragging the department down.

Trust me, I'm not driving the team down at all... that's not the reason why he has this attitude towards me.

file a formal complaint with HR.

It will be stopped.

Or at the very least report it to your boss and ask HR to be there. This guy isn't your boss, so no worries.

Another group would be nice, but I like the project I'm working on right now, just don't like the lead.

This guy's actually Vietnamese.

Thanks guys, just having people understand made me feel better. I'll tell the HR the issue and see how it goes from there.

Sounds like you should stop being such a pussy and call this bastard out for being a complete dick. Who the hell tells people that what they do is kiddie stuff? Punch this guy in the genitals and then defile his wife.

if anything, at least file a complaint with HR, even if they can't do anything right then. then file a complaint everytime you think he is horassing you, and yes it is horassment. this way when you want to finally sue, or even try to have him fired, you can go to HR and ask for all the complaints, and then you will have a solid case.

- I say I don't know something - "you don't know this? haha, you will fail in the industry my friend."

Say, uh huh fail in the industry? Like you've gotten really far Mr. high and mighty Tasklead that has to talk sh!t about other people so he can keep attention away from himself, the true piece of sh!t.
