I am very dissapointed in AMD. How could they let us down like this? I was hoping
for some competition just like back in the day. anyways here comes the poo poo:

q6600 GO 412x9
MSI 8800ultra
1gb x2 crucial ballistix
abit ip35-pro
75g raptors x2 raid 0
antec truepower quatro 850w PS

16k 3dmark06:

can we expect price gouging from high end intel cpu's now?

poopoo indeed... hopefully the speed issues with phenom are only temporary and the move to 45nm helps... Intel will either raise its higher model prices or keep them the same and hurt amd's "high-end" market.

If the K10 needs 45nm to hit the speed-bins they expected from 65nm...and X2 never even hit speed bins at 65nm that it does at 90nm...at what point does it no longer become heresy to conclude AMD's 65nm = fubar?

I know how long it took the community to make this conclusion about Intel's 90nm Prescott...

Not as impressive as my vista64 run.

Now THAT IS impressive! :Q Those temps are incredibly low. If I wasn't such a chicken, I'd have done watercooling a long time ago. I worry about leaks though! :( Plus, I don't have the time to fill the water/change the water every three days or whatever. I vacuum my case out every 3 months or so and that's it. :p

Incredible freakin' low temps for such a high overclock though!

BOINC/WCG is a poor indicator of load performance. Is does not constantly peg the CPU's. Only pegs them every other second. So figure those temps are at 1/2 load.

actually it was shown on XS that it slightly greater then Orthos @ blend.

Need to find the thread where it shows load comparisons.

But on XS bionic WCG is the DC computing thats most popular there.

Not bad... But 2 x 3870 w/Q6600G0 @3.6 was hitting 17450... I built the system for my friend :) Tuniq tower though... so at full FPU P95 the temps are... well hot ;). We scored 3 cards for about $220 cdn each. I have one, he got two. Long live NCIX ;)
