Hey,

Just curious if anyone else has the same "problem"

I find myself in the FS/FT forums A LOT. To the point of being excessive.

Give your thoughts!

I fell your pain. I feel like I'm going to click on "For Sale/Trade" and RCN will be selling his "Thread Crapping Gun".

I lost my love for the FS/FT forum a while back but maybe I can find it again....

Something about being lowballed beyond the point of reason made me stop wanting to try and sell anything there. :roll: $20 shipped for my videocard? And only $18 for the shipping charges to Germany? (I'm not kidding, this was an actual lowball I got)

That and half the buyers expect you to ship before they pay... umm, I wouldn't do that for my mom, what makes you think you earned that, kid? :laugh:

Honestly I haven't found anything that floated my boat for almost a year. I feel pretty well equipped already I must say.

If you've traded on these forums long enough then you know what I am saying... why should I care how many heatpoints some 16 year old has if he doesn't understand business?

I have done literally ten's of thousands of dollars of trades on forums that live by your name alone and I have never burned anyone. But if I wanted to sell an Xbox360 for cheap on this forum I will be suspect despite being here for over 5 years without ripping anybody off.

I love Anandtech forums but the FS/FT forum here is mayhem and chaos. And heatware blows... I got ripped by a guy who was friends with the owner of that domain and he erased his dirty deal but that was a long time ago... I don't even remember the assclown's username... just adds to why I don't wanna buy there anymore.

My last good deal on that forum was from Compuwiz. :thumbsup:

Um, your sarcasim meter is teh broken. I've been trading online for over 5 years, I know what you're saying, but i don't agree with it entirely.

I was addicted to FS/FT when I started out here, did a lot of trading, then became a starving college student, so I had to shift my addiction to the freer more malevolent ATOT. :evil:

Yes, my sarcasm meter needs a hard tap, but I'm just sayin... :p

I still do lots of trading... just not here, not now anyway.

I have a ton of old computer parts I would like to unload here(and actually give good deals to people who would appreciate it) but it's easier at this point to let all the stuff grow dust than deal with the hassle. :(
