I'm also chinese, living in america, and listen to Jpop...
however, I have taken 2 semesters of Japanese in order to understand Anime better 🙂

Only if it's Shonen Knife ... and a good portion of their lyrics are in English even though it's darn near impossible to understand them most of the time.
