Am I a loser for going to school on a senior skip day?

I'm such a loser that I don't get TOLD it's senior skip day.
I don't even KNOW until second period when the absentee list hits my desk.
And it's in your interests to go if your school is anything like mine. Over 5% absenteeism for the senior class and EVERY phone number on record for EVERY missing student will get a call. Clean, efficient, FSCKING DEADLY.

Well, if your classes are empty, not much point in going unless you have questions for the teachers. If enough people show up, the classes will probably be worth it.

Well that's the point. All of my classes will probably be empty.
On a side note, one of my teachers found out one of the days everyone was supposed to skip and made a pop quiz that day. It consisted of questions such as what color is the sky. If you had an unexcused absence you couldn't make it up.
What are your friends doing? I remember 2 years ago, when I was a senior we just hung out and got piss drunk.

What kind of lazy ass high school do you go to where people skip in the fall? I mean, sure, we skipped classes, but we skipped in May, not November.

Just go. No one else will be there so it will be the easiest day of school you'll ever have.
Major brownie points with teachers writing your recommendations too.
ATOT may not be the best place to ask if a certain action makes you a loser, btw

like many other unchallenged geeks here, I wasn't at school enough as it was...that was just another day to me. When it hit 13 recorded days I had to work some magic and get it erased down to 5 though...but thinking back, I don't remember what my excuses were
heh..they suspended people for like a week for skipping on skip day.

I find it amusing that the universally accepted punishment for not going to school is even more time off school.
