Remaining married to any of the people on AT makes you cool enough (or tolerant) but waiting two years and then agreeing to the purchase of a TV over a couch sounds pretty good to me! I'd rather have the TV as well
Sorry to say but that couch is fugly...your husband is cool for rescuing your home from having that thing in it and putting a kickass TV set in it instead. And you're cool for letting him.
Can I get you to talk to my wife please??? I spent most of my Thanksgiving break laying new hardwood flooring in our TV room and one of those TV's sure would look nice in there.

How dare you! That's not the actual color of the one we we were going to get, but it has 3 recliners built into it, a table that folds out of one of the top cushions and it has a Queen size bed in it!!

LOL, that had to suck! My husband is usually only home 1 day a week, sometimes 2, I wouldn't feel right making him do manual labor!
lol oh good. It's mostly just the color that's ugly. We have a couch similar to that, less the queen sized bed.
I must say that the fold down table really comes in handy.

I can't believe you waited 2 years for that BUTT UGLY couch. I think you are lucky to have a husband with good, common, sense & good taste. =)
