Always problems with cops

Well it seems like everyone I know, except the cops that I know have problems with the cops. Seems like the trouble never stops, and I swear we don't cause the trouble. I know that some cops are good, and that they do put their lives on the line. I know they are necessary, so please do not tell me this.

If anyone doesn't want to believe the stories thats fine.

One instance would be on fourth of July, there was a bottle of beer about 5 feet away from me, my brother and two friends. It was at a big block party, and the cops drove by, they gave my brother a summons but didn't give my friend one because he wanted to call his father and his lawyer. Before the cops gave my brother a summons, he asked to have a breathalizer or something. They said NO, and than gave him 3 summons instead of one.

Another time I talked about in the forums, that I got arrested for trespassing.

Theres a ton of stories with my friends also, but they talk back to them.

Today, I didn't see it personally but I heard the story from a couple friends who were there. There was a fight between two people, one of the two got hit in the head with a pipe or a bottle, I'm not sure exactly. The parents ended up fighting over it. The cops came, and my brother was on his cellphone. They told everyone to put their hands up against the wall, so my brother told his friend I have to go over the phone and the cop told my brother he's going in. He didn't want to so I suppose he resisted, they maced him and a few of them took him and cuffed him. He shouldn't have resisted, but they were wrong and abusing their power.

I don't really want to tell my parents, they are strict and asian, I will probably have to tell them. Anyway, I went with someone who was there. The cops basically asked who I was, and they told me he wasn't listening and threw us out. Maybe it wasn't smart to go there but thats what happened.

They just called the house and said that he was told to put his hands on the car, and didn't comply. They said that he'll be in jail till Monday morning. They do not want to answer any questions that I had, they basically hung up on me. I'm asking if theres anything that I can or should do, does anyone know of a good lawyer in Bronx, New York, the 45th Precinct.

Sorry about it being so sloppy everyone, I'm just a little pissed.

Edit: O, and when the cops threw me out, my friend asked why, the cop said get the "FVCK OUT BEFORE I ARREST YOU". My friend asked "why?" the cops said "SPEEDING".

What kind of crap is that?

how did they abuse their power again? DO NOT RESIST ARREST! Once you begin to resist, they can use force to subdue you. They dont know what the guy had or why he was resisting. Better safe than sorry, and for the most part, the courts will agree with the cops. Thats my split second judgment...more details would help though.

Your right he shouldn't have resisted arrest. He's hard headed. But anyway, what other details would you like?

Damn, in all my years, I don't know anyone who has had this much trouble with the police, except the white trash or drunks around here. Arrested for trespassing, fighting, drinking/drunk in public. Maybe you ought to examine your life and make some changes.

Your an idiot. I only had 1 experience, and I did not do anything wrong. They don't like us because we're one of the few asians around the neighborhood, and it's definately racist. At night, they just drive up to us and say "Kim, go home". If we don't agree they threaten to arrest us. One time my brothers friend said "why do you always bother him", and the cops arrested both of them. They were relocated, so a lot of them don't like us even more because my brothers friends parents reported them.

the exact details of what happened when they went to cuff him...not just one side or the other, but both sides of the story. I suppose you will have to wait until your brother is let out for that though...

Evidently your family has made a name for itself with the Police. I would move if I were you. Not smart to do that and resisting arrest and ALWAYS talking back to them doesn't help you one bit. The nicer and more truthful you are with the police, the nicer they will be to you.

Well I told you the cops side, I'll tell you my brothers when he gets out. The cop said "we asked him to put his hands on the car, and he didn't cooperate". All he did was tell his friend he has to go, but after that, he might not have.

I always cooperate with the police. Besides, I usually don't just hang outside, I'm mostly on the computer. The cops aren't very nice and truthful either. I am not planning on moving just for that, I am in college for most of the year anyway.

How do you know they were not nice and truthful?

Well, I've seen tons of times when they lie. The same cops said get the "FVCK OUT BEFORE I ARREST YOU". My friend asked "why?" the cops said "SPEEDING".
They will just make things up, and the cop knows he can get away with that. No one was drinking at all, that day. The cop wouldn't even give a breathalizer. Why don't they arrest the parents, and the kids who were fighting instead.

Sounds like you're still under 'zero tolerance'. I'd suggest straightening up and losing the attitudes. People got fed up with your peers screwing around and got tough. You're getting the backlash.

so you and your friends can solve your cop problems if you...

stop drinking, tresspassing, resisting arrest, and speeding

but since you seem to be a minority you can always play the race card and get 10 free bonus points redeemable and johnny cochran 😕

hmm NYC cops, well u've seen the show "Cops" and know what shizz they have to put up with each day so that'd explain why they have very short fuses. just like the military trains men to be killers on the battlefield, because they cannot have any hesitation whatsoever.

I DO NOT DRINK, AND I SAID I DO NOT.
You can say I did trespass, but I was just checking out a school with a friend who used to go there.
The cop had no right to arrest him if you think about it.
The cop said speeding, but no one was even driving, he said he'll just arrest us for that. He was saying he can arrest us for anything he wants.

Stop twisting my damn words around.

The 45th precinct isn't dangerous at all. These cops go through nothing it's practically like the country.

Isn't resisting arrest an arrestable action in of itself..? 😛

Yea, true. But should cops just be allowed to drive around and tell people that there going to put their hands on the car, and than arrest them? I know that didn't exactly happen, but the cops did want to arrest him for something simple.

Well they happen to pull over schmucks who happen to resist arrest and get a bullet put in them just because they said hey I'll go easy on this one he won't be any trouble....
