Always getting errors when loading UT

Everytime I try to play UT I get "assertion failed" and "ran out of virtual memory" errors. I usualy have to try and load the game about 7 times before it will finaly work and I won't get any errors. Anyone know how I can fix this problem?

System specs are : P3 600mhz, 319mb PC100 Ram, 20gig hard drive, v3 2000 video card.

When i first got ut i had aproximately the same system. P3600, 128 mb pc100, 30 gig, and v3 3000. I never had the problems that you have. And it's really strange that ut eventually works. You would think that it would either work or not.

Ok, this might be constructive. You have 320 of ram. What is your swap file (virtual memory) set at?
