Where did you find them? I could only find the black plastic L1's in 120 and 92mm. Let me know as I need them for a custom lighted plexi case I'm building for a friend.

they sell them at TeamAwe. i just got one as well, but only because they didn't have any regular 120mm at the time. the aluminum ones only come in 120mm and have the same specs as the L1A, i'm running mine at 7v right now.

You can also run them at 5 volts. I did that and it was almost silent.

Gideon- most require a little more then 5v i believe

5v barely made the fins move, and at 7v they're already dead silent, i couldn't hear mine but were definitely moving fast enough. although my intake also has a built in housing that shields more noise then a traditional case i imagine. most fans need 7v, and it also has a 40% gain over 5v so it just seems if you have an L1A it's going to be quiet enough already, at half speed it's gonna be dead silent, just didn't feel a need to go down to 5v.
