I was curious if there were any RealPlayer alternatives but the program could still play .mp3, mpeg, ram, rm, etc....

I recently updated RP to v10 and it's not playing a lot of my old songs. Then it will not play songs from this AOL music program even though it did a few weeks ago; these are .mnd files.

Also, are there any audio programs that convert from .mnd or .mp3?

I would use multiple programs. I also would recommend against ever installing real player again, because God hates people who use it. Even Satan hates them.

There is Real alternative (do a search), to run your real media files, and then use quicktime, windows media player, winamp, etc. for your other stuff.

I have been greatly punished for using that bloodsucking program. I think I may have found a decent player substitute (jetAudio). I hope the Man upstairs will help me find a convertible program for mnd files.

To have the RM codec you have to install real player AFAIK. What I do is boycott RM files. I think itd be best if we all did.

There is also a Quicktime Alternative, and both come with the option of installing MPC.

yucky. Even though I do have a paid subscription to AOL MusicNet, I cannot even get the songs to work with their player. I was hoping I could convert them just so I could listen to them without having to open the player (which doesn't work) all the time. This really sucks. Maybe the idea of playing them and recording them in another format may be a safe option. Thanks for the link though.
