Alternatives to my staple gun ?

I need to run some cable wire between a few rooms in my apartment. My LandLord will not let me drill new holes in the wall to run it, so I must traverse doorways and the molding between the rooms.

What are some alternatives to using staples to hold the wire in place ?

Go ahead and drill the holes. When you move just fill them in with some spackle. Just be sure you drill in places that aren't too noticeable. Landlords are jerkoffs and wouldn't let you breathe if they thought they could get away with it.

What if you networked it with faceplates and keystone jacks and left it all installed? I'd run that by him/her.
