Alternatives to Flask?

Flask has to be the most buggy program that I've used repeatedly for some time... And that's only because I can't find any good alternatives. Is there anything new and shiny that can replace flask for compressing a DVD into a DivX?

I was about to recommend Fair Use but I was the one in the other thread.. *feels special* :D

I haven't ripped a dvd in a little while.. Where oh where did my hard drive space go.

nandub seems to be the best, but my view is if you're going to make it 1 cd, you can't improve it THAT much, so I just use fair use. I'm not one of those guys who is looking to get free movies or replace a dvd entirely by making the flick 2 gigs or whatever.. just a nice 1 cd that's convenient to take over friend's houses or whatever.
