Pulverized Ginseng. Mix with water.

this gives you an idea about the cost

I take Ginseng as well and really love it.

I'm physically addicted to coffee, but not psychologically addicted. I'm fine with skipping coffee, but I'll get a screaming headache if I do. That's just about the only time I get a headache.

It's good to take a week off every 3-4 weeks or so. It keeps you from getting addicted. It also increases the effect of smaller doses of caffeine once you start again.

Regular sleep.
Excercise.
Good diet (lots of fruits and vegetables).
Coffee or tea only in the morning, to get you going.

I've seen way too many people try to survive with poor health, and they are miserable almost all the time. Fancy drugs whether natural, OTC, or prescribed just enable you to be miserable longer.

Also, I used to be one of those guys. The factory shutting down was probably the best thing that ever happened to me, otherwise I would have kept on living like shit.

Sugar cubes. Just eat them like chips. Be careful, they're addicting!

:^O

YUK!! Sugar does work, but it lets you down quick. I've used hard candy for late night driving, but if you make a habit of it, you're gonna get fat.

Edit:
Unless you mean the OTHER sugar cubes. I don't recommend driving in that case, but you will stay awake :^D

whichever one doesn't shrink your wang and increase your verbalizing of words like "Brah!"

...

oh wait, that's all of them.

Is there a reason why you need this drink? And is it ~ the same time everyday? maybe just changing up whatever it is that's causing you to nod off [I'm basing what I see in those ridiculous commercials]?

Haha yeah probably not the healthiest way, and it's short lived. I remember when I was a kid me and my friends used to eat them at the church since they had them downstairs during the coffee time. 😱

Personally I think energy drinks are abused. Eat well, take some vitamins if you can't. Get at least 6 hours of sleep regularly, or you are fucked unless just sitting all day.

I don't suffer from withdrawal really so I am lucky. I have gone from 12+ sodas, beers, etc a day to nothing and never missed a beat. If you suffer then withdraw slowly.

For quick energy the tried and true Ephedrine/Caffeine stack is great. Vitamin B is great too. I take Ginseng and some other supplements too.

I avoid coffee and tea too much prep work needed and it's staining.

I do like a nice coffee and tea now and then.

Not everyone can get that every night.

Agreed, but in lot of cases, you can only if you think of it as a necessity, a therapy, a exercise, something you absolutely have to do if you want to stay healthy, coz if you dont you might loose a lot more in life...

6 hour energy

7's the key number here. Think about it. 7-Elevens. 7 dwarves. 7, man, that's the number. 7 chipmunks twirlin' on a branch, eatin' lots of sunflowers on my uncle's ranch. You know that old children's tale from the sea. It's like you're dreamin' about Gorgonzola cheese when it's clearly Brie time, baby. Step into my office.

I buy a case of Foosh mints http://www.vroomfoods.com/foosh_mints.html and use those when I'm feeling tired. They work really well and for those who don't want to crash, there's no sugar in them. It also has a very strong mint flavor. Plus, a tin of 12 is a lot more compact that half a case of energy shots and a tin costs about as much as one 5 hour shot. I also think they work a little faster than energy drinks because some of the caffeine is absorbed through the gums.

FYI: ginseng's actual biochemical effect has been measured as equal to water.

continue feeding the industry, though.

I guess your metabolism works different than mine.

I drink a lot of water, it's my main drink, but occasionally I will break out the gingseng. I can't help you if it doesn't work for you, but it sure works for me.

i noticed today aldi sells a knock off version of the 5 hour energy shots. I didn't check for the price but I'm sure it's a lot cheaper than the real thing
