You're witnessing a shift in the refractive indicies upon a complex interface of organic materials present in the liquid seepage from within the flesh. It's quite normal. Infinitely complex projections can be realised with a decent monochromatic light source with a coherence length of 5 meters or more. Placing the target on a nebuliser and setting the drive to triangular hammond cosine form at 140V pp with a tristate pulse of 55 microseconds works quite well with 532 nM DPSS cannons. Of course the cavitation will result in a mottled appearence when you're done so it's quite unattractive to serve the target! Be sure to order a pair of filets before hitting the lab!
