I like pfsense a lot but I am stuck on the outbound pptp problem, Since VPN's are a big here. Whats something close to it that allows inbound and outbound connections at the same time

It did but It doesnt support ipsec passthrough, and It didnt have as much function so I went back to pfsense and I am just gonna live with since pfsense it awesome. If I need todo a pptp vpn Ill turn the pptp server off

Are you running on x86 hardware or an embedded platform? The embedded options are slim ,but there are quite a few x86 choices. Last I checked, If you are doing multi-wan, and wanting it free, it drops significantly back to one.

Can't wait for the 2.0 builds of PFSense to be finished...

This is old: http://www.fsckin.com/2007/09/04/this-is-the-fastest-review-ever-of-5-linux-firewall-distributions/

but if you follow some of the links you'll find newer versions / options to consider, still not much else free w/ multi-wan and/or runs on embedded systems.
