I was really wondering today if Anandtech Forums would ever reappear.

Rotten Tomatoes Forums didn't disappear in an instant, but eventually were toast, a huge loss.

When Amazon summarily flushed all customer comments to customer reviews of their products sold a few years ago I was super pissed.

They have a lounge/OT. If you tell them you are from here, you get a custom AT refugee title and access to it immediately. As long as you are cool with no politics or profanity, there is a similar vibe to here.

As others have stated, he's already made changes to make AT people feel more at home.

Last time I was there, several years back, a young fellow appeared to be running the place with an iron fist. I don't know what spectrum he was on, but he was way up near the top of it.

There are other forums beside these 2, outdoors, home & garden, money, tech, music etc. You can read them without registering, but be warned. I'd say 90% of the members are MAGA, and it's a gang bang if you offer an opposing view in politics.
