alternate shells??

are there any alternate sheels to the default explorer.exe that comes with windows that can make my ssystem much faster?> i.e. less clutter and very down to earth? and very low system usage?
 
I love messing around at www.wincustomize.com. But most of their stuff ends up using MORE memory. They have Litestep and a few others.
I would just set your desktop to Classic. It uses slightly less memory and helps with the clutter.
Just in case you dont know: Right-click on the Taskbar and click 'Properties'.
