This software is the biggest piece of $hit ever created; it belongs right up there with AOL and RealPlayer. You would think that a P4 2.4 GHZ with 1 GB or RAM would be enough to run software whose sole job should be to transfer audio files to an MP3 device. But no, every time I run it I fell like it's running on a 233MMX with Windows ME and 32 MB of EDO RAM. I mean EVERY LAST THING about this software sucks. I have to rescan the entire database every time I add MP3's to my music collection. I tried a few alternatives but none of them seem to work with the NW-S705F. If anyone knows one that works with this model let me know, otherwise, this MP3 player is going on eBay and i'm going back to my Samsung YP-F1Z where I can just drag and drop folders onto the device.

Yea I used to have a MD and had to use Sonicstage, so I know what you mean. Since its a mp3 player, cant you just plug it in, then drag and drop your music?
