I understand Office Max is going to have the "20132660 5 piece speakers Altec Lansing" for $20 on Black Friday

There is a rebate on this item through 11/24

Buy it by the 24th so you can send in the $10 rebate, then take your receipt back to OM to get the difference refunded on Black Friday

REBATE

Hrmm... On the rebate it says valid on purchased from 11/22/02-12/24/02. Me thinks this rebate is part of the Black Friday price.

EDIT: Indeed it is, checked the OM Black Friday thread over here and the price is listed as:
2013-2660 5 piece speakers Altec Lansing $20, 10
which means $20 after a $10 MIR. $20 is still a good price for these speakers. I had the 2.1 version of these and they were pretty nice, nothing compared to Loggie z540s though.

EDIT #2: Here is the deal, the rebate is for the black 5.1s not the white/beige ones from OM. You can get them (the black ones) at Amazon.com for $35 then send in the $10 rebate, since its from Altec Lansing for a grand total of $25 AND you dont have to leave the comfort of your home to get them. You can prolly find them cheaper somewhere else but amazon is usually pretty cheap.

EDIT #3: Altec Lansing lists Ingram Micro as one of the distributors of this product. Get the IM# and order at staples PM some place that has it cheap and use a coupon or smth to make this a really hot deal.

I am done with this thread for a while =)

How does it compare w/ older ACS 45.1 or ACS-48 (both 3-speaker systems)? Those had wooden subwoofers are great bass.
